At Dominican Riders, we believe in ensuring your journey with us is as seamless as the roads we travel. We understand that you might have questions before embarking on your adventure, and our FAQ section aims to address those queries and provide you with the information you need to make your experience unforgettable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • A guided tour has all of the following attributes:
  • Pre-determined routes: The tour will be defined and pre-arranged including specific roads, hotels and accommodation, rest stops, breakfast, lunch and dinner stops and sightseeing.
  • Tour Guides: There will be at least one trained professional Tour Guide on each tour.
  • Escort vehicle: There will be an escort vehicle to carry customer luggage as required.
  • Rental motorcycles: Harley-Davidson® Authorized rental motorcycles will be included in the package, where applicable.
  • Group Sizes: Group sizes will not exceed 15 motorcycles (excluding the Tour Guide), and a maximum of 30 people (including passengers) per tour guide.
  • Included in the package:
  • Hotel stays each night of the Tour
  • Rental motorcycle (where applicable)
  • Tour Guide
  • Escort vehicle
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport (where applicable).
  • Transfer from hotel to rental station and back to hotel (where applicable).
  • Highway tolls
  • Our tours are operated by highly qualified and highly experienced specialist and premium Tour Operators. The Harley-Davidson® Authorized Tours Program focuses on a set of minimum requirements, giving you peace of mind knowing that all tours have met an extensive list of requirements including all routes ridden and hotels checked ahead of each tour; no hidden costs to the customer; emergency plans in place to cater for incidents and extreme bad weather conditions.
  • Reservations can be made by e-mail. Check contacts for details. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
  • A reservation deposit will be required to secure your place(s) on the tour. Following an online reservation the Tour Operator will contact you directly in order to confirm the reservation and process the reservation deposit. The reservation deposit and balance of the final fee are to be paid directly to the Tour Operator.
  • Refunds of tour reservation deposits and full payments are at the discretion of the Tour Operator.
  • For full details of refund and cancellation policies, please refer to the specific terms and conditions of each tour.
  • Participants will require a valid passport if traveling abroad. Please advise the Tour Operator of the origin of your passport, who will then advise of any visa requirements.

  • Yes, you will need valid and appropriate travel and medical insurance, please discuss these requirements with the Tour Operator.
  • Rental motorcycles will be arranged for you by the Tour Operator, please discuss with the Tour Operator which models you would like to ride and your level of riding competency. All rental motorcycles will be from Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rentals locations
  • You are responsible for any passengers with you.
  • You are required to hold a full valid motorcycle-driving license.
  • You are required to have valid insurances for your motorcycle, for yourself and your passenger, please refer to specific tour terms and conditions for details.
  • You are required to ride within the legal requirements of each country visited.
  • Yes, please discuss with the Tour Operator details of the motorcycle you would like to bring on tour. Your motorcycle must be well maintained and in road legal condition
  • You are responsible for your own motorcycle, ensuring that your motorcycle is well maintained and in road legal condition.
  • You are responsible for any passengers with you.
  • You are required to hold a full valid motorcycle-driving license.
  • You are required to have valid insurances for your motorcycle, for yourself and your passenger, please refer to specific tour terms and conditions for details.
  • You are required to take out motorcycle recovery assistance for accidents or breakdown.
  • You are required to ride within the legal requirements of each country visited.
  • You are responsible for the repair or related services to your motorcycle if it is out of order (mechanical breakdown or accident).
  • All tours are operated by tour operators approved by Harley-Davidson and have to meet a minimum set of requirements as specified by Harley-Davidson. The tour operators are all independent companies, however, and not part of the Harley-Davidson group of companies. The tours are organised and managed independently of Harley-Davidson and are the responsibility of the tour operator, not Harley-Davidson.
  • The Tour Operator is responsible for the route creation, content development, procuring all supplies, taking care of the customer, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing the booking process and implementation of the tour.   • On guided and semi-guided tours group sizes will not exceed fifteen motorcycles (excluding the Tour Guide), and a maximum of thirty people (including passengers) per tour guide.

  • Please advise the Tour Operator if you have specific dietary requirements.
  • Always bring your helmet, wet weather riding apparel, appropriate footwear, full length trousers and jacket, suitable eyewear and gloves. If you are renting a Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rental motorcycle you will automatically be provided with a rainsuit and helmet if required. However, we urge you to bring your own.
  • There is a support vehicle on all guided tour formats.
  • If you have rented a Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rental motorcycle, you will automatically be provided with details of breakdown assistance for the motorcycle. In the instance that you are bringing your own motorcycle you will need to take out motorcycle recovery assistance for accidents or breakdown.
  • If you are on a guided tour, the tour guide will assist you where possible; you should also make sure that the police/ emergency services, your travel insurance company, your medical insurance company and the motorcycle rental company (where applicable) are notified immediately.
